What is Manicare Dry Body Brush?
A dry body brush to promote lymphatic drainage and exfoliate dry skin.
The ultimate body care ritual - the Manicare Dry Body Brush promotes lymphatic drainage and exfoliates dry skin, helping to reduce the appearance of lumps and bumps for smoother, softer skin. By stimulating and increasing blood circulation, this brush enhances skin elasticity and effectively removes dry, flaky skin, leaving your skin looking refreshed and glowy.
Ensure Skin is Dry:
Dry brushing is best done on dry skin before you shower.
Begin at the Feet:
Start at your feet and use long, sweeping motions. Always brush towards your heart to aid in circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Brush Up Your Legs:
Use firm, yet gentle strokes from your ankles up to your knees, and then from your knees to your thighs. Repeat on both legs.
Move to the Torso:
For your abdomen and lower back, use circular, clockwise motions. For your chest and back, use upward strokes.
Brush Your Arms:
Start at your hands and brush up towards your shoulders with long, upward strokes. Cover both arms thoroughly.
Gentle on Sensitive Areas:
Use lighter pressure on delicate areas such as your neck, chest, and breasts.
Shower:
After brushing, take a shower to wash away dead skin cells. Alternating between hot and cold water can further stimulate circulation.
Moisturise:
Post-shower, apply a rich, hydrating moisturiser to nourish your skin.
Clean Your Manicare Brush:
Tap the brush after each use to remove skin debris. Regularly clean it with mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area to keep it fresh and hygienic.
Additional TipsConsistency: Aim to dry brush daily, preferably in the morning before you shower.Adjust Pressure: Start with light pressure and gradually increase as your skin becomes accustomed to the sensation.Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the brushing process.
