THE OBJECT

With its round case, this white and gold disc of light designed by Pierre Hardy is truly remarkable. The compact powder bears a delicate, silk-like pattern, adorned with the emblematic H passant motif. This Art Deco-inspired graphic signature was originally designed in the mid-1920s for Hermès the saddler. As functional as it is aesthetic, the H offers three levels of intensity for one shade, with the vertical band being the darkest and the background being the lightest.

 

ETHICS

The mineral powder case is refilled by simply removing and replacing the powder pan. Refills are sold separately.
