Encapsulated Retinol
Encapsulated retinol is a vitamin A derivative wrapped in a protective barrier for slow release, allowing for better absorption and helping to minimise skin irritation compared to regular retinol. This also enhances its effectiveness and stability by reducing exposure to air and light. Known for its skin benefits, retinol promotes cell renewal and helps to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation, and dark spots.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, is a multitasker for your skin. It supports the skin's moisture barrier, helps brighten your complexion, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and uneven skin tone. It also serves as an antioxidant, protecting your skin against free radicals.

Ceramides
Ceramides are lipids naturally present in the skin's top layer, serving as a moisture barrier that locks in hydration while shielding the skin from environmental stressors like free radicals and pollutants. Who should use the CeraVe Blemish Control Resurfacing Retinol Serum

This serum for post-blemish marks and hyperpigmentation is suitable for all skin types, however, is best suited to mild blemish-prone, combination and oily skin types.Vitamin A is not recommended for use while pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use the CeraVe Blemish Control Resurfacing Retinol Serum

To use the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum, start with a hydrating face cleanser such as the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser.
Apply 1-2 pumps of the resurfacing retinol serum to a clean dry face and neck (avoiding the eyes). 
Follow with a hydrating serum such as the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum and a hydrating moisturiser such as the CeraVe Ceramides Moisturising Cream.
Use once daily at night or every other night.
Note: If you are new to a chemical exfoliant such as retinol, start with application of the retinol serum a few times a week at night, moving up to daily, to help build tolerance.
Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen while using this product.
