Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo

Fast Facts:
504 Medical-Grade LEDs for even, consistent coverage.
12-Minute Preset Cycle or selectable 4-minute targeted modes.
Red Light – Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.
Red + Infrared Light – Stimulates collagen and firms skin.
Blue Light – Targets acne and acne-causing bacteria.
The Technical Stuff:
The TheraFace Mask Glo is supported by what the brand calls the world’s largest LED mask clinical study to combine Red, Red plus Infrared and Blue light in one device.
The concept is to treat the full spectrum of skin concerns in a single 12-minute session: collagen support, tone evening, fine line softening and blemish management.
Powered by 504 medical-grade LEDs, the mask feels more professional than playful. It is dermatologist approved, cordless and surprisingly breathable, which makes it ideal for anyone who wants results without sacrificing comfort.

Therabody take out the guesswork, with a preset cycle that moves through the three light modes in four-minute intervals, ensuring you receive clinically established doses.
There are thoughtful details too. Protective eye shields remove any worry about sensitivity. The fit is snug enough to hold in place while staying comfortable. And the brand’s VibraWave technology adds gentle scalp stimulation (aka a heavenly scalp massage) that feels ultra relaxing and spa-like.
What’s the difference between the TheraFace Mask Glo and the original TheraFace LED Mask?
If you’re familiar with Therabody’s earlier LED device, the
TheraFace LED Mask, the new Glo model feels like an evolution rather than a replacement. The original mask is brilliant for targeted, face-and-neck rejuvenation with a focus on Red and Near Infrared light. The Glo model instead widens both the coverage and the sophistication.
You get more LEDs, more intensity options and the addition of Blue light therapy to address blemish-prone skin. It’s also lighter, cordless and designed for true mobility.
As Dr Jason Wersland, Founder and Chief Wellness Officer of Therabody, explains, “We’ve seen the growing use of LED therapy and its proven benefits through countless studies, and since launching our first LED device, TheraFace PRO, we’ve continued to evolve and expand our offerings by listening closely to what consumers want and need.”
Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo Review:

First things first - it was ridiculously easy to use. A single button, a mere 12 minute cycle and voila!
Generally speaking, LED should be applied on clean, bare skin.
Though, I like pairing mine with a green tea serum (
INNISFREE’s Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Serum is my favourite), applied 20 minutes before use. Green tea complements LED beautifully by encouraging skin rejuvenation and boosting phototherapy’s action spectrum (ie. efficacy of your LED Mask). It also keeps skin plush and hydrated.
In terms of use, I did find the mask to be on the heftier side. It wasn't a dealbreaker for me - it felt quite luxe and weighted blanket-esque. But I'm not sure how realistic walking around in it is. I chose to embrace the stillness.
Overall, it sat really comfortably on the face - no indents or pressure. I have particularly sensitive eyes and usually find at home LED tends to irritate them. However that was not the case here. The ergonomic design paid special attention to the eye area so there was minimal light exposure.
And the built-in head massage? Pure bliss. VibraWave was subtle and made the experience feel all the more indulgent. The nature of the routine shifted from ‘quick LED session’ to ‘mini ritual’.

Now, let's talk results. Most experts note the 8 week mark is where you’ll see the biggest transformation. I found, even in 30 days, the changes were notable. My complexion looked more even, some stubborn acne had dissipated and there was a decent reduction in cheek redness (I'm rosacea-prone).
Overall my texture felt smoother, firmer and plumper. There was a notable radiance and healthy sheen, too.
Two friends told me I was glowing. And one (usually very honest) friend said I was “giving skin goals”, which is possibly the highest compliment in my line of work.
My topical routine stayed mostly the same, which made the improvements feel all the more legitimate.
Final Verdict
Beautifully engineered devices are easy to admire. Ones that integrate seamlessly into real life are a different achievement altogether. The TheraFace Mask Glo manages both.
It looks chic, performs like a professional treatment and requires only 12 minutes a day.
After a month, my skin is brighter, more even toned and smoother. I’m excited to see where the next month takes it.
And for someone who rarely sticks to an at-home tool long enough to see the payoff, that says everything.
