I’ll be honest: I didn’t see her coming.
Torriden is about as unassuming as skincare gets. Soft, pastel packaging. Minimalist labels.
A name I’d seen floating around Korean beauty circles, but hadn’t properly clocked. Between the flashy new cosmeceutical serums, celebrity-backed actives, and luxury fragrances popping up in
New Arrivals lately, Torriden quietly slipped to the back of the queue.
Until a recent
Beauty IQ Uncensored podcast recording, when host Hannah whipped out her "favourite lip balm." A bold claim, especially from someone who’s been in the Adore orbit for 7+ years. The formula in question? Torriden's Solid-In Ceramide Lip Essence. Ten bucks. Ceramides. Cute little tube.

Naturally, I added it to cart — and then, you know how it goes — one product became four. And here we are.
With my wedding less than six months away (yes, the countdown is on!), my skin has become a part-time job. Texture? Uneven. Tone? Patchy. Hydration? All over the place. So I’ve been doing the most — targeted topicals, in-clinic treatments, and a strategic buffer routine to keep my barrier happy and my glow on track.
Torriden became the supporting act in my skincare stack and (spoiler alert!) ended up stealing the show.
Tell Me About Torriden.

Torriden is a Korean skincare brand built on quiet confidence. No gimmicks, no 14-step routines — just thoughtful, minimalist formulas designed to hydrate, soothe, and strengthen the skin barrier.
They’re especially known for their Dive-In Hyaluronic Acid line and Balanceful Cica range, both of which have gained cult status in K-Beauty circles and on TikTok (#torriden has over 20 million views at last count).
Their philosophy? Your skin’s “journey” is personal and should feel simple, supportive, and sensorial.
Ingredients like Centella Asiatica (aka Cica – more on this coveted cosmeceutical ingredient
here!), low molecular hyaluronic acid, and ceramides do the heavy lifting here, with textures that feel lightweight but nourishing, and formulas that play well with even the most temperamental skin.
And in a world where skincare can feel chaotic and overcomplicated, this pared-back, functional approach is a welcome reprieve.
Torriden Balanceful Cica Cleansing Gel.

Fast facts:
Low-pH gel cleanser with 5D Cica Complex.
LHA gently exfoliates while calming irritated skin.
Best suited to sensitive, acne-prone or compromised barriers.
My Torriden Balanceful Cica Cleansing Gel review:
I don’t usually reach for gel cleansers; they tend to leave my dry skin feeling tight and irritable. But this one genuinely surprised me.
It gave me that satisfying, thorough clean, without the dreaded post-wash tightness. My skin felt soft, balanced, and comfortable straight after rinsing, even before I’d reached for toner or serum.
One pump is all you need — it foams up beautifully — and the pump packaging makes it mess-free and super convenient for bleary-eyed mornings or post-Pilates showers. I also love the soft eucalyptus scent; it’s subtle, fresh, and makes you feel like it’s doing something.
It’s now my go-to second cleanser.
Torriden Balanceful Cica Toner Pad.

Fast facts:
Dual-sided design: one textured, one smooth.
Exfoliating and soothing toner pads with Centella + mild acids.
Designed to smooth, hydrate, and calm irritated skin.
Ideal for sensitive, acne-prone or unbalanced skin types.
My Torriden Balanceful Cica Toner Pad review:
These are one of those products that just quietly work.
I used them both morning and night as a final swipe after cleansing — great for removing lingering grime, sweat or product buildup. They leave your skin feeling fresh and smooth, but still calm.
The formula is gentle enough that I could still follow with a hydrating toner (like
tbh Rebound Skin Milk) without any sting or irritation. It epitomises the K-Beauty approach where exfoliation doesn’t mean burning your face off.
And the value? So good. You get a generous stack of oversized pads (no need to double up), plus a set of little tweezers to keep things hygienic. Practical and cute.

Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

Fast facts:
Features five types of hyaluronic acid in varying molecular weights.
Deep hydration with added panthenol, allantoin and madecassoside for repair.
Lightweight, non-sticky texture that layers effortlessly.
Soothes redness and calms sensitivity — ideal for dry, tight or reactive skin.
My Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum review:
If your skin feels like the Sahara, this serum is a tall glass of water. I used it morning and night, and it slotted perfectly into my routine — juicy, refreshing, and never sticky.
The texture is somewhere between water and gel, and it sinks in fast, leaving my skin looking instantly fresh, glowy, and plump. It layers beautifully with vitamin C, retinol or heavier moisturisers, and doesn’t pill.
As someone who too often overdoes it, I appreciate the pipette applicator that dispenses the perfect amount. A few drops, and my skin feels like it just got a big, comforting hug.
Honestly, this is the kind of serum any skincare lover can keep on hand for a quick reset button: soothing, hydrating, uncomplicated.
Torriden Solid-In Ceramide Lip Essence.
Fast facts:
Nourishing lip balm with ceramides, jojoba seed oil and shea butter.
Gently exfoliates and smooths rough lips.
Adds a glossy, healthy-looking sheen.
Locks in moisture without feeling heavy.
My Torriden Solid-In Ceramide Lip Essence review:
I owe Hannah for this rec. It’s now my favourite non-tinted balm — and that’s coming from someone who has one in every pocket, purse and car door.
It’s rich but not waxy, and it leaves this glowy finish on your lips that looks hydrated and fresh. My lips felt softer within a few days and are staying flake-free through Melbourne winter.
I only wish I'd stop misplacing it... (hence why I don't even have a pic of it to share with you all - so sorry).
But then again, at $10 a pop, I think I can swing another one.
Final Verdict.
It’s not the flashiest-looking brand on my skincare shelf, but Torriden has quickly become one of my favourites.
The soothing, hydrating formulas slotted seamlessly into my routine, supporting my barrier while I tackled more intensive actives.
It's also worth noting: I used every single one of these right down to the last drop. Which, when you work at Adore Beauty, is no easy feat.
Torriden is also incredibly well-priced, making it a brilliant entry point into K-Beauty if you’re new to it, or an easy option if you want to simplify your routine without compromising on results.
My advice? Don’t sleep on it like I did.
