Amy Clark is Adore Beauty's former Senior Editor and co-host of Skincare School the podcast (and self-appointed beauty road-tester!). Amy's worked as a journalist, beauty editor and podcaster for several years, previously writing and talking about all things beauty at Mamamia and You Beauty. When she's not writing honest, no BS product reviews and taking selfies 'for work', you'll find Amy eating halloumi in a hair towel turban and... taking more selfies.

When Victoria Beckham's and Zoë Foster Blake’s facialist shares her own skincare routine, you take notes.
And that's exactly what I did when Aussie skin expert, author and facialist to the stars Melanie Grant posted her current routine on Instagram (@melaniegrantskin).
With more than two decades of experience and sought-after skin studios in Sydney, Melbourne, LA and Paris, Melanie knows healthy skin.
Celebs like Cate Blanchett, Lara Worthington, Nicole Warne, Kim Kardashian, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Victoria Beckham and Zoë Foster Blake would agree.
So yeah, I was very interested to read about Melanie's current morning and night time skincare routine.
I thought you might be, too.
Yes, there are a lot of products from luxury brands like Biologique Recherché, Victoria Beckham Beauty, Chanel and Augustinus Bader in Melanie's routine.
But in great news, you'll also find some AB-stocked cosmeceutical skin care on the list.
Without further ado, keep scrolling to find out exactly what a celebrity facialist uses on their own skin.

1. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic.

Seeing this best-selling serum in Melanie's routine was particularly pleasing for me.
Mostly because I can add it to my list of reasons justifying why C E Ferulic is worth the money.
After cleansing in the morning (Biologique Recherché Lait U and Augustinus Bader Cleansing Gel are her picks), Melanie applies SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum - 30ml or another of her favourite vitamin C serums.
"I always use a serum with antioxidants in the morning to protect against free radicals and environmental aggressors," she says.
"When it comes to ageing, free radicals and environmental aggressors are just as bad as UV, so it must be a serum with antioxidants which provide that protection."
Follow with an eye cream and a moisturising SPF50+ sunscreen, and that's Melanie's AM routine done!

2. Bioderma Micellar Water.

Melanie's evening skincare routine is all about correcting and repairing.
But first, double cleansing is a must.
If it's not an oil or balm cleanser, Bioderma Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Water Cleanser 500ml is her pick for the first cleansing step.
"It's no secret that I'm an advocate for a double cleanse in the evenings. And a vital part of this is ensuring your makeup is completely removed."
"Sleeping in your makeup is proven to impair cells and inhibit the natural processes of repair and regeneration that our skin naturally carries out on its own overnight."
Pro tip: Melanie recommends "saturating your cotton rounds to let the lotion do the work for you."
"Hold over each eye for 60 seconds to really break down makeup. Gently swipe inward and upward, working over the eye carefully and gently."
"Don't pull, scrub or rub the eye contour even if the temptation is there - slow and steady wins the race!"

3. Cosmedix Purity Clean Cleanser.

Cosmedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser is Melanie's current second cleanser.
She even got ole mate Posh Spice into it, too!
The gel-based, lightly-exfoliating lactic acid cleanser leaves your skin feeling fresh, not stripped.
Want to cleanse like an A-list skin expert?
Apply the product on damp skin after your first cleanse, before removing with a damp face washer to "further buff away any surface debris and gently polish [the] skin."

4. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré.

Next come the targeted night time serums to brighten, refine and hydrate the skin.
"I like to have a couple on hand and reach for the formula that’s best for my skin on that particular day," she says.
"It’s useful to have a little skincare wardrobe, so that you can gauge your skin, and adjust your products each day or by season."
In Fiore Fleur Vibrante Serum Cerate, Noble Panacea The Brilliant Prime Radiance Serum, and serums from Biologique Recherché are all in her skincare rotation.
After an eye cream, Melanie seals everything in with a rich cream or face oil.
Right now, it's Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Moisturiser 75ml - but again, it comes down to what her skin needs on the day.
"I am not just constantly bouncing from one new product to the next, but I will switch [seasonally]."
"I will switch between a rich, occlusive crème when it’s cooler, and a gel crème or lotion when it's warmer."

5. Cosmedix Pure Enzymes Mask.

Masks are part of Melanie's weekly skincare routine.
She adds, "I love a face mask more than any other skincare product."
"There’s something so luxurious about applying a mask whilst lying in the bath or having a glass of wine."
"I always have a few on hand, and select based off the result I’m after."
Cosmedix Pure Enzymes Cranberry Exfoliating Mask is on high rotation, and I can personally vouch for the incredible cranberry scent.
This mask exfoliates and softens the skin, and is perfect for sun damaged or hyperpigmented skin; dry, scaly skin; normal to problem skin, and post-peel.

6. asap Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub.

asap daily exfoliating facial scrub 200ml is the last product in Melanie's current skincare lineup.
"I like to use a physical scrub or gommage [a cream/paste exfoliant] a couple of times a week to really buff and polish my skin."
This glycolic acid cleanser also contains biodegradable microbeads for gentle but effective manual exfoliation.
Oh, and in great news for us, it has a wallet-friendly price tag!

And there you have it, Melanie Grant's current skincare routine!
P.S. A final word of skincare advice before you go adding this entire list to cart:
The best products for you are ones that'll work for your skin type and concerns.
Not Melanie's skin. Not Posh's skin. Your skin.
Just because a celeb - or a celeb facialist - loves a product, doesn't mean you have to buy it.
That said, if any of these products sound up your alley or contain ingredients designed to treat your specific skin concerns, go forth!
