In Partnership with BIODERMA.
It’s the
best of French skincare (simplicity, efficacy and a barrier-first approach) designed with the rigor of Australian sun exposure in mind.
BIODERMA’s latest foray into high-performance sun protection sees the Photoderm range offer a unique response to the harmful effects of sun exposure, with both physical and biological protection to strengthen the skin’s self defence mechanisms under the sun.
And like all things BIODERMA, there’s a certain level of dermatological precision that ensures your daily SPF feels and behaves like skincare.
At Adore Beauty we follow a
SPF365 approach to sunscreen which means diligent application (and re-application); rain, hail or shine. This new collection from BIODERMA ticks those 3 boxes - and then some.
From 4 hour water resistance to
application on wet skin,
lightweight textures and invisible finishes, here’s everything you need to know about the range.
A little about BIODERMA’s Photoderm Range:

With broad-spectrum, high-UVA/UVB defense (boasting a UVA rating of PA++++, the highest possible rating), it’s suitable for every skin type, including sensitive.
Worth noting, the entire range is non-comedogenic, ensuring your pores stay as clear as your conscience.
BIODERMA Photoderm Suncare Serum SPF50+ Dewy Glow Face Sunscreen.

Luxuriously lightweight, this serum-like texture is similar to a milky toner or glazing milk - it’s velvety and runny rather than gloopy.
So it’s little surprise that the finish it produces is that coveted glazed finish. Dewy, glowy and oh-so radiant.
With hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, this is equal parts skincare and sunscreen, helping to prevent the signs of premature skin ageing.
Like all BIODERMA icons, good skin is the ultimate goal. The texture is completely invisible and dries down to a comfortable, non-sticky finish that plays perfectly with your morning serum or over bare skin.
It’s a glow-getter.
BIODERMA Photoderm Suncare Fluid SPF50+ Dry-touch Face Sunscreen.

If the Serum is for the dew-seekers, the Suncare Fluid is for those who prefer a dry-touch finish. It’s incredibly lightweight and a good makeup base, acting almost like a primer to create a smooth base for whatever follows.
This particular formula also boasts pollution defence, repelling environmental impurities to help reduce particle adhesion. Essentially meaning your pores are guarded against the grime of city living.
Importantly, this one also promises 4 hr water resistance - making it an excellent choice for outdoor exercise or long pool days.
BIODERMA Photoderm Suncare Lotion SPF50+ Invisible Face & Body Sunscreen.

This is the heavyweight champion of the range. Impressively, the formula can be applied directly to wet skin without losing efficacy; a total gamechanger for beach days and something I haven't personally seen in the SPF category before. It’s moisturising and leaves behind a natural finish.
Boasting the same 4-hour water resistance, it’s the ultimate all-rounder for the face and body. Just remember to be diligent with your neck and décolletage.
Always read the label and follow the directions for us. Sunscreens are only one part of sun protection. Reapply frequently. Avoid prolonged exposure in the sun.
