You may have noticed that a wide range of
K-Beauty brands and viral products have just landed at AdoreBeauty! If you haven't, don't worry, that's where I come in...
As someone who has used and
loved Korean skincare for a long time, I have been road-testing some of these new and exciting Korean skincare launches (and have been LOVING them) so thought I would share them with you - our skincare-loving Beauty IQ readers.
Below are just some of my top K-Beauty Australia picks from the latest arrivals.
Best New K-Beauty Products Australia.
Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner, $36

Toners are the MVPs in winter.
Even those with combination or oily skin types will often find their skin feeling dehydrated, and that’s where an extra layer of hydration makes a huge difference.
I love a mist toner because it makes it easy to re-apply throughout the day.
Pyunkang Yul is a K beauty brand known for minimalist, gentle formulas that are suitable for sensitive skin.
This mist toner’s main ingredient is the Coptis Japonica Root extract, which has soothing properties, as well as antioxidant benefits.
How to use Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner:
I spray this straight after cleansing and have found it to be very fast-absorbing.
On days when my skin is feeling extra dehydrated, I’ll wait a few minutes and do another layer of mist before moving onto the next step in my routine.
My skin felt soft and supple after using this toner mist, and it’s become a staple in my winter routine.
I can also see myself carrying this product through to summer, when a toner mist can be very refreshing!
Mixsoon Bean Essence, $63.90

Like Pyunkang Yul,
Mixsoon is another K beauty brand which has gentle, minimalist, and fragrance-free formulas for all skin types.
How to use an essence?
If you’re looking for an extra hydration boost, layer an essence after toner and before your serum.
I’m a big fan of snail mucin, but if you can’t use snail mucin, bean essence might be a good alternative (those with shellfish or dust mite allergies may react to snail mucin).
The Mixsoon bean essence is gentle and has can perform as two products. It’s viscous but has good slip, which means it glides onto the skin.
How to use Mixsoon Bean Essence:
You can leave it on as an essence, or use it as an exfoliant. On days when you feel like you need to physically remove flaky skin, you can use the essence to gently massage your skin and lift dead skin cells.
This product can be used for sensitive skin, and also has skin barrier-loving ferments.
If I can recommend another product from the Mixsoon range, I’d follow the essence with the
Mixsoon Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
It comes in a huge 300mL bottle, which is great value!
If your skin struggles with dehydration during winter, start with a toner mist, essence, and then a hyaluronic acid serum which draws moisture into the skin.
Laneige Bouncy & Firm Serum, $65

Bouncy and firm is exactly how I want my skin to feel!
Don’t be fooled by the cute pink packaging of Laneige’s latest serum – there is solid technology behind this product!
It has encapsulated vitamin C (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate) and E, as well as a blend of four peptides that promote skin elasticity and firmness like acetyl hexapeptide-8.
It also has all-rounders like niacinamide and adenosine, which have a broad range of skin benefits. In addition to these active ingredients, the serum provides intense hydration with the use of a collagen complex.
The Bouncy and Firm serum has a gel texture, which doesn’t feel sticky on application.
How to use Laneige Bouncy & Firm Serum:
It can be used both day and night, and has a pleasant floral fragrance. It’s a great one to use over winter to help rehydrate and plump the skin.
TIRTIR Ceramic Cream Light, $57

TirTir has had a few viral moments online with its
iconic red cushion foundation, as well as its milky toner.
The toner was how I got started with TirTir, and in a very competitive skin care category, it remains a firm favourite alongside the
Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner for me.
This time I decided to try the TirTir Ceramic Cream Light and have been completely blown away!
I personally don’t like thick creams, so I’m always on the lookout for lightweight moisturisers. This cream is suitable for blemish-prone skin, and even includes witch hazel.
The texture is soft and airy, but still contains deeply hydrating ingredients like ceramides and polyglutamic acid.
My face feels so soft after using this moisturiser that I kept touching my face afterwards in awe.
If you do like the feel of a heavier cream in winter, you may prefer the
original Ceramic Cream. However, if you prefer something more lightweight, this one was a winner for me.
When I think of K-Beauty, I think of hydration.
These recent arrivals to Adore Beauty have been working overtime to keep my skin looking juicy and plump even as the temperatures keep dropping!
