In Partnership With First Aid Beauty.
If there’s something I’m a huge fan of, it’s the ‘everything shower’.
I’ve loved it for years- with its mystical powers to turn a day (or night) around.
If you’re not familiar with the ‘everything shower’- it’s essentially a shower where you really get down to business and get everything done.
Legs? Shaved. Hair? Washed. Skin? Scrubbed.
There are genuinely few better feelings than walking out of an everything shower, hair wrapped in a towel and fluffy robe on.
But why do I bring up the ‘everything shower’, I hear you ask?
Well, today I’m going to talk to you about First Aid Beauty and their in-and-after shower body care range.
Perhaps most importantly I’ll spill all the deets on the product that got me into not just saying I would moisturise my body after showering, but actually doing it.
As someone who has never had a solid body care routine (the horrors, I know), this is a big deal.
But before we get into the products, lets do a little wrap up of FIRST AID BEAUTY.
If you’re familiar with TikTok, you’re no doubt familiar with FIRST AID BEAUTY.
A brand full of products aimed to assist with common skin concerns, regardless of your skin type.
Yep - that means their products have been made with even sensitive skin in mind. How good?
Now on to the routine that got me reinvested in looking after the skin below my decolletage.

FIRST AID BEAUTY KP Bump Eraser with 10% AHA.

  • To cut straight to the point, this stuff is so good.
  • This tube of goodness includes pumice buffing beads, glycolic acid, lactic acid and even Vitamin E. You read that right - both physical and chemical exfoliants.
  • Described as a “micro-dermabrasion treatment and chemical peel in one easy-to-use scrub”, this product aims to “decongest the skins top layer” leaving you with gorgeous looking skin.
  • The texture of the scrub isn’t too chunky that it feels useless, and isn’t too fine that it disintegrates into nothing. It’s proper goldilocks stuff.
  • You only need a small amount of the product to tackle problem areas, as a little bit goes a long way.
Ever since I got my hands on a tube I’ve been using it around once a week (during the aforementioned everything shower) to make sure I’m keeping the tops of my arms that often show signs of KP (keratosis pilaris), nice and smooth.

FIRST AID BEAUTY After-Shower Nourishing Body Oil.

Next we’ve got the sparkly new First Aid Beauty Nourishing Dry Body Oil - 177ml
  • Now, I will be very frank with you. I am obsessed with this product.
  • It is truly the product I didn’t know I needed.
  • There’s so much to love about this oil, but first, lets get into what is actually in the bottle.
  • This product includes a host of skin-loving oils to really nourish the skin - think Jojoba Oil, Orange Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Oil and Grape Seed Oil among a host more.
  • Not only is the formula hydrating, lightweight and easy to dispense with the pump lid, it almost smells divine.
  • That was the first thing I noticed when I used this product for the first time. The next thing was how immediate the dry-down of this oil was - gone are the days of feeling like a rotisserie chicken when using body oils.
  • My skin absolutely drank up this oil and everywhere I used it was left feeling smooth and hydrated without being sticky.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Ingrown Hair Treatment Pads.

Next are the FIRST AID BEAUTY Ingrown Hair Treatment Pads - 28 pads - the saviours for avoiding ingrowns.
  • These individual pads are soaked in a solution that includes glycolic acid, witch hazel and salicylic acid (amongst other sensitive-friendly ingredients) to gently help exfoliate skin.
  • As dead skin cells can trap hairs thus creating ingrowns, using these pads means that you’re reducing the amount of dead skin on the surface, thus reducing your chances of ingrowns. A win!
  • I personally used these on my underarms and I found that it helped both brighten my skin and help keep potential ingrowns at bay.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Body Lotion.

  • This lotion is super smooth and light - and best of all it comes in a super handy pump pack that means you can easily dispense the right amount of lotion for whatever you’re trying to hydrate.
  • Softening shea butter, squalane and colloidal oatmeal meant to help treat eczema are both pulling their weight in this lotion.
  • Perhaps my favourite thing about this product is how it layers so nicely on top of all of the steps in this routine and leaves me feeling plump and hydrated.

So, with warmer weather just around the corner, now is the perfect time to work out your own personal body care routine.
