Ever since their monumental launch
of beauty essentials (including a ground-breaking foundation), followed by those
Sabrina Carpenter-approved Lip balms, Prada Beauty have been setting a new standard for luxury beauty.
They're approach, much like their high fashion background, is equal parts technologically advanced, refined and ultimately, very chic.
In fact, recently, supermodel (and my personal beauty muse) Bella Hadid signed on as the face of the brand, further cementing their status as the purveyor of cool.
And it’s hard to look past these shiny, new arrivals. A collection of pout-worthy lip glosses and high-powered concealers that promise to elevate your routine from mundane to high fashion.
We put the new formulas to the test; here's how it went.

I’m somewhat of a lip gloss savant. I’ve been known to carry an arsenal of anywhere between 3 and 11 glosses on my person at all times (you never know where the day will take you!) and love the crystalline look of a fresh application. Equally, I appreciate the artistry behind a formula that balances shine with wearability. Spoiler alert: Prada does this very well.
There are a few other things that make for an excellent gloss....
The feel: Lip gloss is a sensorial experience, after all. This formula felt plush and expensive. It wasn't overly slick and had a comfortable amount of slip. It was relatively non-sticky and tended to stay exactly where I applied it. Bonus points for not catching any stray hairs throughout the day - that’s the ultimate litmus test.
Level of pigment: Often I’m layering a gloss over outlined lips (I typically use a liner one shade darker than my natural pigment), so I look for semi-opaque formulas that marry well with a contour.
For the sake of a fair trial, I applied this to bare lips, and as you can see, the colour payoff was impressive. It gave a sophisticated wash of tint that looked "done" but effortless.
I opted for the shade Brown Script; a warm toned medium brown that skewed a little pink. I loved this shade! A super flattering and very wearable 'nude'.
Plumping: Without being a traditional 'plumping gloss' (no spicy stinging here!), the formula definitely adds a little something-something.
It's dosed with lip-loving ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, known to hydrate and soften for fuller, supple lips and Squalane to condition. The formula enhanced shape nicely and smoothed over some of those harsher lines - giving the appearance of fullness.
Lasting Power: It has decent staying power for such a high-shine finish. While you'll probably want to reapply after your coffee run, the hydrating base (and pigment) lasted a few hours after the glossiness subsided.
Shine Factor: My most important metric (!) and one where this formula truly shines. Designed to reflect light from every angle, the gloss imparted a beautiful, glassy sheen that leant more luminous rather than metallic-y.

Sadaf's Prada Reflection Lip Gloss Review:
"As someone who typically steers clear of lip glosses, often favouring matte finishes instead, the new Prada lip gloss was a pleasant surprise.
In true Prada beauty form, it feels just as elegant (read: comfortable) on the lips as it looks in its sleek packaging and for chronically dry lips like mine, this was a massive green tick.
It coats the lips in a soft, glassy, lustrous finish that isn't overpowering but imparts enough shine to turn heads. I LOVED and found the brown-leaning berry shade I tried stunning, so much so I even posted about it on my Instagram and received lots of compliments - another sign it’s a good one!
This image is only one coat, which is perfect delicate tint for everyday wear, but it’s definitely buildable if I wanted to up the ante."

There’s something special about how Prada Beauty formulates their complexion products. Their approach is rooted in science but developed with real skin and real people, in mind.
Here, they've utilized the same micro-filter technology as their viral foundation (read our foundation review
here) to give it that blurred, surreal skin finish. It's unreal.
And as far as concealers go, I'd describe this one as a lightweight true-cream texture with medium coverage.
My skin veers on the drier side, so I typically gravitate towards lighter formulas, like this! The formula brightened and blurred without actually 'concealing' (or settling in) too much.

I found it smoothed over those tear trough lines nicely. I also experience a little bit of darkness (often exasperated post night-out) which the medium coverage combatted with ease. The finish was luminous and hydrating for a plumped out look.
And like everything Prada does, skin health is at the forefront. Spiked with Squalane and a Peptide Complex, the formula works double duty to reduce the look of dark circles and blemishes with every wear.
It’s makeup that acts like a serum - which in my book, is the ultimate luxury.

Chloe's Prada Reveal Concealer Review:
"There’s something about pulling out your Prada concealer in the morning that instantly makes you feel iconic.
It’s a true medium-coverage concealer that gives just the right amount of coverage while still looking like me.
After application, my skin looks velvety and blurred, and it’s surprisingly transfer-proof too. I caught myself touching my under-eyes all day and the makeup stayed completely intact."
