So when I heard whispers that they were releasing their very first foundation, the Make ‘Em Wonder Foundation, I knew I had to get my hot lil’ hands on it ASAP.

My Nyx Professional Makeup Make ‘Em Wonder Foundation Review
Right off the bat, I’ve already had two compliments from the girls in the office since trying it. So if that’s not a sign of a good foundation, I don’t know what is.
The formula is a soft matte, which I love because I’m not really into the full matte look. It’s super buildable, offers great coverage, and somehow still feels really lightweight, definitely ticking all my boxes.

I paired it with their Wonder Snatch Loose Setting Powder and it sat beautifully on my skin, giving me that soft, airbrushed satin finish I love.
However, I did notice that the foundation oxidises slightly by the end of the day, which tends to happen with more affordable formulas. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind when choosing your shade.

Excitingly, I also got to test out NYX’s other new releases, like the NYX Lip Lingerie Liner Stain and Jelly Job Lip Gloss.
If you don’t already know, I’m a huge fan of NYX’s lip products (especially the Lip IV Gloss Stain which I’ve raved about before), so I was waiting very patiently (well, not really) to try these. Spoiler alert: I love them.
The lip liner has an incredibly precise tip that makes it easy to define your lips without any bleeding, and the gloss is glassy, smooth and super comfy to wear. It’s also TikTok viral for good reason. Together, they make a perfect duo.
Bonus: the liner is a great dupe for a certain high-end lip stain (and it doesn’t dry out easily).
Final Verdict...
All in all, it’s honestly no surprise that I loved these new NYX drops.
The brand continues to impress, and at such an affordable price point, it’s truly hard to say no.
