The Pantone Colour of 2025 has officially been crowned ‘Mocha Mousse’—and let’s just say, it feels deeply personal.
This light brown hue already defines 90% of my wardrobe and, to be completely honest, 90% of my personality (like, down to my phone case).

As you can see, I’m most happy when in a tonal look.
Now, If you’re not entirely sure what the Pantone Colour of the Year represents, allow us to turn to the experts themselves.
Here’s the quick lowdown straight from the Pantone website:
‘Pantone selects a color each year that captures the global zeitgeist—the Color of the Year express a global mood and an attitude, reflecting collective desire in the form of a single, distinct hue.’
Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute Laurie Pressman says on the Pantone website:
“For Pantone Color of the Year 2025, we look to a mellow brown hue whose inherent richness and sensorial and comforting warmth extends further into our desire for comfort, and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can gift and share with others.”
As the Pantone website puts it:
'With its sophisticated, earthy elegance, Mocha Mousse can serve as a versatile foundation, enhancing a wide range of palettes and applications—from minimalist to richly detailed designs.'
Key word: Versatile.

Pantone Colour Of The Year 2025 Beauty Products List.
1. MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil.
Lip liners have officially taken centre stage as one of the most buzzed-about beauty products of the year.
Thanks to TikTok, we’ve been flooded with endless lip combos always tied together with a trusty lip pencil.
And when the masses peeped Hailey Bieber using the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil - game over—it instantly became a beauty essential in everyone's makeup bags.
While there’s no shortage of cocoa and brown-toned shades to choose from in the range, if you’re after a universal hue that flatters every lip tone, Caffeine is the one to grab.
I like to trace it along the outer edges of my lips, then gently diffuse it with my ring finger for a soft, natural ombré effect—perfect for avoiding any harsh lines while keeping it effortlessly chic.
This multi-tasking pencil can also be used on eyes and brows, or to
spot on some faux freckles.
2. Gucci Beauty Rouge À Lèvres Mat Lipstick.
I’m yet to try a Gucci lipstick (I know, beauty blasphemy), and now the Pantone Colour of 2025 gives me the perfect excuse to do so!
Gucci Beauty Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipstick is a collection of rich-hued lipsticks with a long-lasting matte, velvety finish.
This sexy bullet comes in an array of mocha-inspired shades, but I have my eyes firmly on 'Fanny Rose' and 'Suzanna Sunset'.
Both shades look like they would perfectly complement everything in my wardrobe and the versatility of the shade means I can easily take it from day to night with a swipe of my MUFE lip liner (above).
3. OPI Infinite Shine Gel-Like Lacquer - Nudes/Neutrals/Browns.

Shade: Livin' La Vida Mocha.
Well if this isn't the Pantone 2025 colour of the year in a nail polish shade (it’s literally called Livin La Vida Mocha) - I don’t know what is.
It’s also *the most* Sadaf nail colour I can imagine. My nails are always painted either nude, grey or one of a thousand different shades of brown.
So this shade would feel right at home in my collection. Actually all of these shades would:
Plus, it’s only $25. My OPI nail polishes always last for ages when I wear them too!
This one from the OPI Infinite Shine Gel-Like Lacquer range promises up to 11 days of wear, is scratch-resistant and delivers a salon-looking mani at home with its ultra-glossy finish.

4. MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Skin Sculpting Palette.

This is a palette I already own (and love), but it wouldn’t feel right to leave it off this list because I am here for YOU as much as myself friends, so if a luminous, glowy complexion and makeup look is your goal year-round, add this MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Skin Sculpting Palette palette to cart.
Think of it as the neutral, warm-toned cousin of the iconic
MAKE UP FOR EVER HD SKIN ALL-IN-ONE PALETTE.
I first reviewed this creamy palette for
this Beauty IQ article where I spotlighted some of my favourite MAKE UP FOR EVER products and fell in love with how it made my skin glisten.
This multi-purpose palette contains six shades to conceal and even out skin tone, two contour shades and four highlighter shades.
So you're basically getting three products all in one easy-to-use- compact.
5. Huda Beauty Matte Obsessions Warm.

If there ever was a versatile eyeshadow palette that could carry you through every season, it’s this one.
This Huda eyeshadow palette contains 7 powder mattes and 2 cream-to-powder shades and is a great 'Mocha Mousse-inspired eyeshadow palette.
I’m super keen to try this palette not only because it’s only $55 for nine shades, but also because I spot some other very Sadaf-coded hues in there like rich browns, terracotta and even a warm peach.
Plus, this review from AB customer Fiona sealed the deal for me:
“Gorgeous shades that blend like butter! The warm tones are super flattering.”
6. Benefit Cosmetics Badgal Bang Mascara Colours In Shade 'Rebel Brown'.

Earlier this year our beauty editor Jas took these Benefit coloured mascaras for a test-drive in this
Beauty IQ article, and instantly influenced our whole office on them.
I’ve already made the switch from black to brown eyeliner years ago for a softer, more diffused look, and I’d love to try a brown mascara for the same reason.
A rich brown lash moment feels like the perfect way to add subtle definition while keeping things effortlessly natural.
The shade ‘Rebel Brown’ is at the top of my list.
These mascaras aren’t just pretty to look at though, they’re also long-wearing promising up to 36 hours of wear, are water-resistant (perfect for summer) and they contain ProVitamin B5 which is said to help with thickness and strength.
Yes, there are plenty more mocha coloured beauty products to peruse on site, from lip balms to coffee perfumes!
But I think these six will do me for now (until next pay day).
