No matter how many beauty products I've tried over the years, whispers of plumper skin, 'no-makeup makeup' and full, juicy lips always turn my head. They're my catnip. I *must* try whatever products claim to yield the aforementioned qualities - and by any means necessary.
In fact, it's those qualities that shape much of my beauty routine these days. So when the opportunity arose to trial L'Oréal's cult plumping range - I was in.

L'Oréal Paris True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum
You've likely come across L'Oréal Paris' True Match foundation before. The cult, glow-getting formula is frequently name-dropped by makeup artists, celebs and enthusiasts alike. Their tinted serum iteration is - in my opinion - better.
It boasts the same flawless, skin-like coverage we know and love (cc: the OG L'Oréal Paris True Match foundation), but the unique texture, longevity and other-worldy-glow cements this serum foundation in a league of it's own.
Let's start with the texture; this might just be the most lightweight formula I've tried, ever?! It's a watery liquid consistency that feels like a seriously-thin serum on the skin. So much so, that I actually prefer to apply it with my hands.
I'll work a few (2-3) drops in between palms (to warm the product up) then gently press into my skin. My skin skews on the dry side so it laps the product up nicely for a melt-in finish. I like to dab a little more product with my fingers wherever I might need a little extra coverage - tear troughs, rosacea redness, the occasional pimple.
The coverage is buildable (and layers beautifully) to produce an even and 'your skin but better' complexion. No cake-iness. Using a beauty blender or brush will give you fuller-coverage results.
Ultra-hydrating, the formula is bolstered with 1% hyaluronic acid to re-plump tired skin in just one hour. The smoothing formula glides over texture and dryness with ease, for a plump, healthy finish.
Perhaps what impressed me most, was it's longevity. This stuff does. not. budge. It felt light and breathable on the skin and looked radiant and glowy all day long (and well into the evening).
The real winner? Our wallets. For an impressive formula that is comparable to luxury offerings in the market, the affordable pricepoint feels like a steal.

If I were to conjure up my dream lip product - this would be it. A hybrid lippie that speaks to my two beauty passions: to nourish and to plump. And nourish and plump, it does.
The lip oil glides across lips for a slick, shiny finish sans stickiness. It's a slightly richer consistency (my preference) and sits atop the lip like a nourishing coat. The colour payoff is subtle (a pretty flush) on bare lips and layers nicely over lipstick for a glassy finish.
Onto the plumping...
I want plumper lips. So, with promises to make my pout look fuller/gloss-ier/juice-ier - my interest was piqued.
Within one minute of applying this gloss, the tingling sensation took hold. You can see from my before and after pics (above) *just* how plumping this formula is. It adds the appearance of more volume, fullness and enhanced shape.

So, we know the groundwork to a flawless complexion starts long before the brush hits your skin. Enter: L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Wrinkle Serum, the ultimate pre-cursor to a smoother, radiant complexion.
I'd liken the silky serum to a glass of water for your skin, helping to plump up those fine lines and boost hydration. The formula is supercharged with a potent blend of three types of pure hyaluronic acid.
The magic here is in the Micro-Epidermic Hyaluronic Acid (yes, it sounds fancy, and trust me, it is).
