It's Time For 'Big Stick Energy' Cos It's National Lipstick Day

If I’m being 100% honest with you all, my favourite day is actually Mac & Cheese Day on 14th July. But National Lipstick Day on 29th July comes a pretty close second.

What is it about lipstick that changes your whole mood? It’s like it just gives you a whole new lease on life. Pre-lipstick: everything is the worst; post-lipstick: come at me world. Look, I’m not claiming that lipstick solves all of the world’s problems, unfortunately we can’t put lipstick on COVID and call it a day.
But at the end of a long day when I feel like my body battery is at an all-time low, and I can’t go to my favourite restaurant, a well-applied lip goes a very long way to recharge my soul. It genuinely gives me this whole new sassy attitude.

There's a reason this lipstick is YSL's most shoplifted lipstick. And whilst we don't condone stealing, I can see why these lippies get swiped off the dispay shelves more than any other product. Comfort is high on our priority list during isolation, so we love a lippy that's also super comfy. This is like the designer lippy of iso trackies. Gloss it up with this hydrating lip cream which adds moisture and depth for a shiny and wet finish. Stunning.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Lip Blush
This lippy was inspired by blush, which has an incredible ability of making you look alive (even if you're dying inside). There's something about a flush of colour that gives the illusion of looking awake. And when you're not vibing the team Zoom brainstorm, we say: fake it til you make it!
Lancôme L'Absolu Lip Plumper
Here's one for the girls who love a plumped-up pout without the lipstick. This one is rich in the hero of hydrating ingredients, hyaluronic acid, and has a plumping sensation for totally kissable lips (yes, your date will totally wanna kiss you through the screen). Glossy goodness.
