As a huge fan of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, it has become an absolute staple in both my personal and professional kit.
Every time I apply it on my clients I always get the same reaction “My skin looks so smooth” to which I always reply with a knowing smile, “That’s Luminous Silk”.

Now that I’ve basically written a love letter about this foundation, you can understand why I was so excited when I heard that Giorgio Armani had a Luminous Silk Glow Blush.

What Is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush?
The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush is a powder blush designed to add a soft, radiant flush of colour to the cheeks.
Like the rest of the Luminous Silk range, it aims to deliver a glowing, second-skin finish with a lightweight yet buildable formula.

My Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush Review.
The packaging, as you’d expect from Giorgio Armani, is super sleek and also includes a handy mirror, making on-the-go touch-ups a breeze.
Upon first swatch, I found that although it is a powder blush, it is super finely milled and feels quite lightweight (which is a win in my books).
I am not going to lie, I am usually a cream or liquid blush lover and tend not to reach for powder blushes as much, however, when I first swiped the shade 50 across my cheeks, I immediately fell in love with the smooth, silky texture and its lit-from-within glow.
It could be used as a stand-alone blush applied straight onto foundation OR over the top of a liquid blush to help set it in place for longevity.
With this in mind, like any good road tester, I trialled both application methods and found that I was able to achieve the same radiant, silky look.
One of the standout features for me is the luminous finish.
This blush has subtle light-reflecting pigments that give your cheeks a radiant glow without looking glittery or shimmery. It’s more of a soft sheen, which makes it perfect for those wanting to achieve an effortless, glowing complexion without crossing into highlighter territory.
I will say that due to the light and silky nature of this blush, if you want a really bright cheek you will just need to build up to that intensity for a few layers.
How it wears:
The wear time of the Luminous Silk Glow Blush is quite impressive.
After a full day of meetings, running errands, and a dinner out, I found that the blush had faded only slightly, leaving a healthy flush of colour behind. It holds up well over foundation, and I didn’t experience any apparent caking or settling into fine lines.
The final point I want to make about this blush is how quietly versatile it is. You can go from a barely-there flush to a bold, defined cheek by simply building the product up.
I also swiped some of the blush over my lids to create a tonal look and found that it held up quite well, despite my lids producing a very healthy amount of oil throughout the day.

The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush is a beautiful addition to the Luminous Silk range.
It delivers on its promise of a radiant, natural glow while offering the flexibility of a buildable formula.
Whether you’re a makeup minimalist who wants a hint of colour or someone who loves to go all out, this blush can do it all.
The lightweight, silky texture feels undetectable on the skin, and the luminous finish is perfect for creating that effortlessly glowing complexion we all crave.
