There are blushes - and then there are DIOR blushes. Sculptural, covetable, inherently chic.
You may be wondering what it is that makes a DIOR blush so special (and worth the designer price tag)? Well, let me tell you.
DIOR's *ethereal* washes of colour boast performance, longevity, a dose of logomania and, above all else, innovation.
The legacy house are often lauded by the beauty community for their commitment in pioneering new ingredients and technologies. And they do so with their fingers on the pulse. Put simply (and as my fellow Gen Z'ers would suggest), DIOR fundamentally understand the assignment. Recent months have seen the brand launching a trio of blush formulations - buttery sticks, whipped liquids and a revamping of their cult-followed Rosy Glow powder. Kind of a big deal.
Meticulously formulated, these performance-driven beauties are housed in playful and dynamic compacts that lean heavily into logomania - it's DIOR after all. Iconic.
As someone who collects blush like others collect labubus - these new objects d'art felt right up my alley.
Here's how I feel (and everything you need to know) about these new blush collections.

DIOR Backstage Rosy Glow Blush Stick.

This is precisely what I'm referring to when I say, giving the people what they want.
DIOR have taken the colour stories, performance and tech behind their much beloved Rosy Glow Collection to create new (and flawless) cream stick offerings.
Borrowed from its powder counterpart, the formula harnesses pH-responsive pigment tech. Blush colour adjusts to your skin’s chemistry and blooms into a customisable shade that feels uniquely 'you'.
On the skin, the formula reads as a balm-meets-blush, melting into the complexion for a dimensional and radiant flush. DIOR have described it as reflecting light for a plumping effect on the cheekbones.

I opted for the the shade 'Berry'; a deep, warm plum. I loved how it turned out on my complexion - it was punchy, youthful and oh-so flattering. I can imagine this shade being particularly complimentary on medium to deep skin tones too.
The first thing I noticed while applying was the impressive colour payoff. I used a small amount - I'm talking half a swipe - and pressed that into skin directly with my fingers. As you can see, there was vibrant pigment and colour.
While I was happy with this level of colour payoff, early swatches are also attesting to it's buildability and depth of colour. Making the shade a great, universally flattering pick.
It blended like a dream, gentle dabbing motions lent to that seamless, melted finish, well. I found the formula balanced dewiness without appearing overly greasy or shiny. There was also none of the patchiness or 'slip' that can sometimes occur with cream formulas.
I was thoroughly impressed and overjoyed by the dynamic colour, radiance and glazed-cheek reflect that this formula imparted. And best of all - it was easy! Swipe, blend, done. I can absolutely see this earning permanent real estate in my purse.

What: DIOR Rosy Glow Blushin Cherry
It’s impossible to talk about modern blush without mentioning DIOR Rosy Glow. It’s the product that turned beauty editors and A-listers into baby-pink devotees. That iconic, fluorescent-looking powder (shade 001 Pink) took over runways, red carpets and feeds. I was almost stunned, when I heard DIOR were reformulating - why fix what isn't broken? But DIOR, being the pioneers (and perfectionists) that they are, strove for better.
The newly reimagine Rosy Glow powder is smoother, silkier and somehow more intelligent. The pigment still adapts to your skin's pH (so that same fresh-from-the-inside glow remains), but now the formula blends, blurs and diffuses a little more effortlessly.
The finely milled powder makes for undetectable texture and the most natural, airbrushed finish. I don't think I've experienced a powder quite so lightweight and soft before. The finish is a velveteen (sits somewhere between matte and satin), to mimicking the plushness of real skin.
That said, do not let the texture and finish fool you the colour payoff is anything but soft. Like the stick offering, it's buildable and designed to last throughout the day. No patchiness, no muddiness and no weird oxidising halfway through the day (iykyk).
On my skin the shade 'Cherry' becomes a vivid pink-red flush. Very sun-kissed, very fruity and very fresh. This was my all-time favourite shade from the OG release, so am thrilled to report the shift, depth and tone of the colour remains the same.
I'd be remiss to not mention the sparkling new packaging, too. Now square, the compact features glossy, crystal-clear with silver Dior lettering. It's spirited, bold and just as chic. The powder still features the iconic embossed DIOR logomania. And yes, it looks just as divine in flatlays.

DIOR Rouge Blush.

Dosed with 90% natural-origin ingredients and infused with floral skincare, it feels less like a traditional powder and more like a silky, weightless second skin. There is zero chalkiness here - just a soft, lightweight texture that manages to maintain skin hydration all day long, which is a rare feat for a long-wearing blush.
I’ve been road-testing the shade 999 in the Satin finish, and it is the definition of a punchy, "just-pinched" pink. While it looks intense in the pan, the couture colour is beautifully buildable; one light sweep gives you a fresh, summery glow, but you can easily layer it for a high-pigment, editorial look.
It’s a sophisticated coral-red variation that immediately illuminates the complexion. 10/10, no notes.

DIOR Forever Soft Filter Whipped Liquid Blush.

A skincare-makeup hybrid, this is DIOR’s first-ever liquid blush. But it's not a liquid blush like we've ever known before.
It's star power (and big point of difference) lies in the unique airy, whipped texture. It beholds a mousse-y putty-like softness that feels almost like a veil on. It's designed to diffuse and subdue with the most gorgeous soft-focus effect. Think: a blurring filter IRL.
Dosed with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and wild pansy extract (hello moisture retention), the formula deliver long-lasting hydration. Up to 24 hours, in fact. While I can't attest to the full 24 hours, my skin did look fresh and balanced throughout a day of office air con. There was no creasing or dryness.
I’ve been using shade 'Lily' a true neutral, creamy pink. I've been likening the shade as the equivalent of good lighting; it brightens, highlights and radiates energy. It's also just very pretty-looking.
The colour payoff is moderate but buildable. I would say out of the three new formulas - this is the most sheeny and luminous. I like to have a bit of skin poking through, so thoroughly enjoyed the dewiness here.
I did note that the texture dried down a little quicker than I expected so I buffed with a stippling brush quickly. It glided over my foundation with ease and once it set, it set.
The finish was the real standout here. Luminous, blurred and glowing cheeks? What more could a girl want in life.
