There are certain constants in the beauty world that we simply don’t mess with. The
Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation has long been one of them.
A cult-status icon adored by the likes of Bella Hadid and Anya Taylor-Joy for its ability to mimic that
golden hour glow. However, this year, the house has done the unthinkable and granted this
beloved DIOR staple a significant upgrade. While I am
usually a "don't fix what isn't broken" kind of girl, this update has changed my mind...
Here's everything you need to know about the new, even glow-ier formula.
DIOR Forever Skin Glow Foundation.

Dosed with a triple-action skincare blend, the new formula feels less like a traditional base and more like a skincare-foundation hybrid. Ethereal, light and luminous. The updated formula features a powerhouse blend of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and peptides. These aren't vanity additions either; the quality and potency of ingredients here mirror that of a hardworking serum. For example - the peptide used is acetyl hexapeptide-8, which is colloquially referred to as the 'botox peptide' for it's impressive skin smoothing abilities.
The trio promise to visibly improve your bare skin’s quality in just one week. It’s an aspirational claim that I do think holds some weight. After a few days of repeat wear, my complexion looked plump and dewy. No dehydration in sight!
Now onto the look and feel of the new formula...

Ultra lightweight, the texture is where I think the reformulation really shines. It's an incredibly thin, imperceptible fluid that manages to deliver a seamless, airbrushed finish. Without a hint of heaviness.
I applied it using a damp sponge and the result was pretty seamless. It blended and melted into
I ended up using 3-4 pumps for a full face (and neck) application - which is one pump more than I typically would but I was really happy with the level of coverage and found it continued to sit nicely.
One thing I've noticed about a DIOR complexion (across the board) is that they always strive for that coveted blurry, almost-airbrushed finish.
This one filled over pores and smoothed texture nicely. I also thought the formula did a great job of neutralising redness and covering pigmentation. My tone looked even and healthy.
I found the coverage to be a true buildable medium-to-full. That said, on an errand day I mixed some in with my moisturiser for a sheer, glow-getting effect. It worked a treat!
Touting impressive longevity with 24-hour wear, it is formulated to resist conditions of heat and humidity and offer 24 hours of no-retouch perfection. I can't speak to the full 24 hours personally, but it lasted beautifully through a full day of office aircon and after work drinks.
While those with extremely oily complexions might still lean towards the matte counterpart (the house have also updated their
DIOR Forever Skin Wear Foundation; an equally exceptional choice for those who love a natural matte finish) the glow finish here reads as more radiant and sophisticated than shiny.
Oh, and you may have noticed the new, elevated look. The sleek new design features an embossed chrome DIOR logo that screams chic, high-fashion and utterly DIOR.

Final Verdict:
When a product has the name Glow in, there's little surprise the results are glow-y. DIOR takes it up a notch.
Here, the finish is as radiant and dewy as it is airbrushed. It creates expensive-looking blur that mimics that of your favourite IG filter. I really loved how this applied on my skin and thought this was one of the best foundations I've tried in a minute.
With the impressive tech and skin-first ingredient line up - I'm sorry to say it but - this luxe beauty is 100% worth it's designer price tag.
