"I’m notoriously lazy when it comes to brows. It’s my least favourite step of a routine. Some days they get a swipe of my beloved ABH Brow Freeze Gel (it’s incredible!) and some days they get nothing. A cardinal beauty sin, I know.
When I think about the why behind my brow aversion, it often comes down to their unruly nature. I simply struggle with them. They’re thick (although boast their fair share of sparseness), with one sitting ever-so-slightly higher than the other. Not ideal.
So, when it comes to testing brow products, I’ve found they tend to accentuate the unruly, bushy inner thirds while leaving my sparse patches… still sparse?!
It’s been a struggle. Which makes finding a formula that works with them, that much more exciting. I was genuinely giddy while road testing this Maybelline newbie.
The small micro-brush applicator allowed me to target those patchier areas, without depositing too much pigment where it wasn’t needed. A gift!
The colour payoff itself was decent and gave my brows an even-coating that mimicked a fresh tint. I suspect this may be due to the fact that the formula grips to both hairs and skin alike.
Applying the mousse formula felt lightweight and airy (a little goes a long way). The medium hold made it malleable enough to shape and shift hairs into place, without looking overly "stuck" or stiff. Hello, user-friendly!
I loved how my brows looked: fluffy, feathery and polished. And they stayed that way from day to night. I'm eager to use this one again."

"I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I take my brows very seriously. Everyone’s got their thing, right? Mine just happens to be those tiny, stubborn gaps that refuse to grow back, no matter how many products I slap over them.
Which brings me to why I’ve been loving the Maybelline New York Superfluff Brow Mousse.
The small, precise applicator is perfect for filling in sparse areas, depositing just the right amount of pigment in a single swipe. The shade match? Spot on. (I use Medium Brown, in case you’re curious.)
True to its name, the formula has a whipped, mousse-like texture that’s easy to apply and blend. It doesn’t crunch, flake, or feel stiff; ideal for that soft, natural, everyday brow look.
It leaves a lovely diffused finish that doesn’t look too heavy when worn alone. My only qualm? As someone who lives for a laminated, feathered brow, this doesn’t give you that sculpted, brushed-up hold like a gel or wax would. But to its credit, it did survive a sweaty Pilates class, so it’s still has decent staying power."

"I really wanted this super affordable brow product to work for me, partly because it’s under $25 and partly because I’m the biggest Maybelline fan; so many of my most-used products are from this brand.
So when the new Superfluff Brow Mousse launched, I was excited. Sadly though, my fine brows didn't take too well to it.
I want to preface this by saying, I don't think this is because of the actual product, I just found that my brows didn’t have enough density for the product to cling to so ended up with a bit more of a patchy finish.
That said, I still know it’s a great brow product because when Fran said to me the other day, “Sadaf look at my brows today, do you like them?”
To which I replied, “I was JUST about to say how good your brows looked today what’s on them?”
She told me it was the Maybelline Superfluff brow mousse!
So my honest verdict is that if you have naturally bushier, thicker brows, you will love this - it will make your unruly brows look fluffy (can also attest to them feeling soft and not crunchy like other brow products) it has a soft hold, and it adds some volume.
It just wasn’t quite the right match for my thinner arches unfortunately. But on the right brows (read: Fran) - gorg!"
