In Partnership With Redken.
From
glass skin to
glossy lips, it’s safe to say that we’re loving all things shiny!
And, when it comes to my hair? Well, the shinier the better!
I am almost two years postpartum with my second child, and I’ve said it once, twice, a thousand times -
my hair just isn’t the same.
Whilst it has improved slowly over time (thanks to the abundance of beautiful products I’ve treated myself to) it’s still not the shiny, full, head of locks I used to have.
Mostly, I struggle with the frizz, and the dullness.
It can just look so lifeless sometimes.
So, when the newly launched Redken Acidic Colour Gloss range launched, including
Redken Acidic Color Gloss Shampoo 300ML,
Redken Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner 300ML and
Redken Acidic Color Gloss Leave-In 190ML Treatment - I was really excited to try it.
Let's dive in to my reviews of the new Redken shampoo, and Redken hair gloss giving products.

My Redken Acidic Color Gloss Range Review.

I must say, the feeling was *instant* love when it came to the Redken gloss range.
I used this gloss shampoo and gloss conditioner combo in the shower one time and I honestly noticed the difference in my hair straight away.
When I was washing out the conditioner, I couldn’t believe how much softer my hair felt. I even told a colleague on a Google meet call that my hair has been feeling and looking better after using the range.
Once towel-dried, I added in the Redken gloss Leave In Treatment and my hair was much easier to brush.
Typically it can be quite knotty post shower and it takes a minimum of two products to help get rid of those pesky knots. Not this time. The Leave-In Spray was enough.
Once dried, my hair was noticeably smoother and my flyaways were more tame than usual.
I went ahead and styled my hair and definitely felt that it was glossier than usual too.
I will say that I felt like I needed to use a finishing serum to complete the look, so Redken, if you’re reading this Beauty IQ article, I’d be happy to be a product tester should you choose to add one to the range!
Final Verdict...
I’m now three weeks into using the range and I am still very happy with the results.
I just had my hair coloured as well, so I am excited to see how much it extended the freshness of my highlights and keeps my hair looking like I've been to the salon.
Overall I would definitely recommend this range to someone who has coloured and/or dull hair and is looking to enhance shine, smoothness and get the most out of their colour.
It’s a big tick from me!
