There are a few truths you learn as a Beauty Editor. Some are easy to abide by; SPF truly is your best friend and going to bed with wet strands is a definite no-no.

But after roadtesting for a few weeks, I'm pleased to report this product is pretty close to miraculous.

A lightweight elixir (think: oil-mist hybrid) that's designed to protect hair against heat damage while supporting strength and vitality. It can be applied on wet to dry hair and from scalp to strand, offering a holistic approach to hair health. I haven't seen anything quite like it before.

This formula is a powerhouse of results based on scientific trials. It is proven to protect hair up to 230°C and results in up to 99% less heat damage compared to unprotected hair. These findings are based on in vitro lab testing comparing untreated hair samples against those treated with the Miracle Hair Treatment Oil Elixir.

The formula heroes a specific Peptide Technology (Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1) which helps to support hair strength and vitality. It also features a Botanical Oil Blend of Marula, Argan and Sunflower oil to deeply nourish, add shine and provide softness.

I used this in a few different ways to see if it lived up to the hype.

For overnight hydration and repair, I applied it from roots to ends before bed to let it work while I slept. I made sure to massage it into the scalp to encourage the actives to work their magic. It is formulated to promote scalp health, maintain density and support hair growth. While it is early days to be measuring new growth, I will say my scalp felt clean and balanced while my strands were oh-so silky the next morning.

When styling and to put those heat protecting properties to the test, I used two to three droplets (my hair is thick and long) on damp, post-shower strands. As I was blow-drying I did notice improved manageability; my round brush pulled through with ease! When dried, my hair felt soft (like ridiculously soft) and looked noticeably smoother.

Because I love shine (there can always be more glow in my opinion), I applied an extra drop to dry strands from the mid-lengths to the ends. The shine was next level and reflected light with each swish. Bonus points for the added frizz control, here too.

Overall, I found my style lasted for a few days without feeling weighed down or oily. My hair veers on the dry and brittle side, so it soaked the nutrients up. For oilier hair types, I would recommend starting with just a single drop on the ends to gauge the weight.

Oh, and true to its dream-like nature, it is infused with a potent scent that is Eleven Australia’s signature scent. With sparkling top notes of coconut and lime, and tropical fruit heart notes anchored by velvety vanilla, tonka bean and a smooth musk, it smells quite literally like a luxury tropical vacay. It's vibrant and juicy while somehow still remaining sophisticated. Balanced beautifully, I found it lingered throughout the day.
