My favourite thing about Valentine's Day is how over the years, it’s turned from something incredibly hetero-normative to a day to show love to those around you regardless of whether it’s a romantic relationship or not.
I adore showing my friends some love with Galentines Day themed dinners, sending my family some flowers, and treating myself to something special (even if that’s often a new fragrance and an expensive Uber Eats order).
If a partner is present, that’s a silver lining.
