A fun fact about me is that I love giving gifts, especially thoughtful ones.
Case in point: when I hosted friends for our annual Friendsmas get-together last year, I bought customised matchboxes and painted each one individually for my guests to take home, as if we’d dined at a chic restaurant in NYC and not in my kitchen.
Cool, right?
I’m still pretty proud of that one. Whether it’s gifting a reusable coffee cup with a few five-dollar notes tucked inside to cover a week’s worth of coffees or getting a friend a book I think they’ll genuinely enjoy, I love giving someone something I know they’ll love.
With all that in mind, I’m here to share some of my wisdom with you, so no matter who you’re buying for, you’ll get an actual “Oh my god, this is so great!” from them.
Here are some great gifting ideas you’re very welcome to take full credit for.
For the Candle Obsessed.

Speaking of Glasshouse Fragrances candles, they’re the perfect gift.
It’s genuinely as simple as that.
But what scent do you choose? Kyoto In Bloom is my favourite scent to gift as it’s fresh and floral, without being overpowering.
For the Person Who Moonlights as a Makeup Artist.

This palette is perfect because it's useful for anyone regardless of what look you’re going for.
Shades can also be used across multiple
different skin tones, and are multi-use in nature so there’s real value in it.
(I also love using the
Artist Color Pencils as eyeliners, lip liners and even the brown pencil for faux freckles.)
MAKE UP FOR EVER is loved by MUAs worldwide for a reason!
For Those With a Million Lip Products in Their Bag at All Times.

Girl math dictates that you can never have enough lip products.
The Fat Oil Lip Drip and M.A.C lip liner are great additions to everyone’s kit, regardless of whether it’s a sheer, neutral look or a bright, show-stopping red.
The Fat Oil Lip Drip is also my current handbag fave just for everyday use as well, as it offers the perfect swipe of colour without an overly sticky feeling that sometimes comes along with lip products.
For the Friend-Of-A-Friend Hosting Drinks.

When you don’t know what someone will like, a hand cream is a great gift to give someone.
You avoid all of the risk of buying someone something that doesn’t suit their skin or hair, plus it doesn’t break the bank.
The Alpha-H hand cream has jojoba oil and shea butter, plus 5% lactic acid - so it’s also good for hands now and later.
Talk about those skincare benefits.
For Your Low-Key Bestie With a Minimal Makeup Routine.

It’s no secret that
I love Brow Freeze. Like,
a lot. So if you’ve got a friend who doesn’t currently have it in their kit and loves the natural look of brushed brows, this is for them.
For Someone Searching for Their Signature Scent.

Discovery kits are a phenomenal way to find your personal fave scent, regardless of whether it’s as a gift for you or someone else.
It’s an easy way to try multiple scents without purchasing a full size - and it’s even better if you get it as a gift.
Scents to look out for in each of these packs?
The iconic His/Her from Who is Elijah, the fresh scent Paper from Commodity and Not A Perfume from Juliette Has a Gun.
For That Bougie Friend Who Always Gives the Best Gifts.

Maison Balzac is, in my opinion, one of the best brands to start with when commencing your gifting search.
They have gorgeous scents, amazing glassware and my personal fave incense that I force everyone who comes to my house to smell. Say less.
As for a gift?
I’d recommend the gorgeous Carafe Set for the lucky recipient, as it’s useful and stylish glassware that looks gorgeous on any bedside table, desk or kitchen bench.
For the Friend in Their Self-Care Era.

This is my original PWDKWN - aka, product we didn’t know we needed, (those who tune into the
Beauty IQ Uncensored podcast know)..
Whenever someone asks what they should snag in their next adore order, I recommend snagging a bottle.
The mist is gorgeously fine and the bottle is pretty enough to take pride of place on a bedside table.
Plus, this isn’t your traditional lavender-scented spray, so it’s perfect for even the most seasoned in self-care.
Final Verdict.
So there you have it - with options from 20 dollars, there’s something for everyone in your circle and even some people outside it.
