So when I heard that ghd had a revolutionary new product coming that saved time and didn’t damage your hair, my interest was well and truly piqued.

How to Use the Ghd Duet Styler.
I first gave this product a go on a hot and steamy summer day.
The mercury was well above 30 degrees, and as a frizzy-haired gal, heading outside meant heading into battle against my sworn enemy - humidity. Naturally, I was nervous.
First up I washed my hair then wrapped up my hair in a towel while I got myself set up with the product that was promising me dry hair in a swoosh.
I popped on an audiobook to listen to while getting ready (to my delight the ghd Duet Styler was quiet enough for me to listen to my Bluetooth speaker while using it) and I was off!
I followed the prescribed four-step process that the brand outlined would garner the best results from this spiffy new ghd Duet Styler:
1. WET - Start with freshly washed, towel-dried hair.
2. HOLD - Section hair, turn on the unit, wait until the light stops pulsing and you’re ready to go. Start by clamping and holding the tongs on the roots of your hair for 2-3 seconds
3. PACE - Then glide down from root to ends slowly, and repeat until dry.
4. SHINE SHOT - Press the Shine Shot button, wait for the light to stop blinking again, and glide through dry hair to achieve a shiny, sleek finish.

Long story short? I LOVED it.
Not only was it super easy to use, but it also did what it said it was going to do.
My hair after a pass or two depending on how wet the hair was, was dry and straight.
Something I’d normally achieve with a towel dry, a blast with a hairdryer and then a separate run-through with a straightener.
What was even better? The reactions I got when I turned up to the party I was getting ready for.
Multiple people came up to me throughout the night and commented on how healthy and shiny my hair looked asking if I’d been to the hairdresser.
When I was driving home later that night, I did the classic sun-visor check to see if my mascara had made it through the night without transferring to my lower lids.
And as I was doing a makeup check, I noticed my hair still looked fresh and sleek.
I’d played a game of volleyball at this party (yes, you read that right), and my hair had come out totally unscathed. My mascara on the other hand, hadn’t.

Final Thoughts...
