When Adore Beauty’s Retail Marketing team first revealed that we’d soon be launching Gucci Beauty in a work meeting a few months ago, most of us went into what can be closely described as borderline mass hysteria (the good kind).
There were even AB staff members from far and wider teams who had heard whispers DM-ing me to ask if the rumours were true.
That's how excited we all were.
Now, we advise you to remain calm because, Gucci makeup may or may not be launching not so far behind, but you didn’t hear it from me! *Insert inconspicuous rolling of the eyes here*.
However, as your beauty bestie, all I’ll say is, I’d watch this space verrryyy closely over the coming months.

Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum.
A contemporary take on the classic, powdery, floral scent, Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum sings ‘spring’ with its notes of tuberose and jasmine and has fast become the scent I'll be wearing all spring (plus the remainder of winter to cheer me up).
Notes:
- Head: Rangoon Creeper accord.
- Heart: Jasmine.
- Base: Tuberose.
My Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum review:
My scent preference doesn’t usually lean floral, especially a powdery one but I have some exceptions, Gucci Bloom Eau De Parfum being one of them.
Its dreamy layering of jasmine and tuberose accords housed in a sleek, pastel pink bottle delivers a romantic, feminine-leaning scent that feels equal parts fresh, pretty but also modern and quite strong.
Some powdery floral scents can come on a bit soapy, but not this one.
It’s intoxicating but not the way that deeper scents are; it’s light and simultaneously has a head-turning presence about it.
Rich, but not aggressive or sickly, this beautiful floral scent is the one I’ll be reaching for in spring (and summer) to carry me through long days and evenings with just a few spritzes.
If you love the scent, but prefer the less intense version, then we'd suggest Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette.
Both iterations would be the perfect spring or summer wedding day scent or even better, whisk it away with you on your European holiday - the perfect accompaniment to memorable balmy nights.
Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum.
This stunning scent is housed in a gorgeous, lacquered pink glass vessel and adorned with an eye-catching retro floral motif on the front which happens to be painted by artist Vittorio Accornero for Gucci in 1966.
Notes of white gardenia, pear blossom and brown sugar drives its sweet trail and is part of Gucci’s ##FloraFantasy campaign inspired by Japanese anime as well as the notion that 'more is more'.
