A quick recap on my skin type and concerns. I like to describe my skin type as a 'sensitive desert'.
Besides being perpetually dehydrated and requiring SPF reapplication every two minutes if I’m in the sun, my skin is generally well-behaved, only throwing in the occasional eczema/dermatitis flare up to keep things interesting.
I've been using the brand's best-selling BioLumin C serum in my skincare routine for a while.
It's brightening, but non-irritating, and the no-fuss serum texture sinks into my skin easily.
So, when I heard there was a moisturiser version coming, I politely told my colleagues I would be road-testing it.
The silky gel consistency layers beautifully with other serums (no pilling here!), and the citrusy scent is a nice treat in the mornings.
That and, well, the way the glorious instant glow makes me look alive with minimal effort. See?
I introduced it into my morning skincare routine on top of my favourite asap super B complex 30ml for extra hydration, but you can use it as a night moisturiser too.

What:

Dermalogica Glycolic Cleanser review:
My sensitive skin and I don't usually do exfoliating cleansers.
I tend to stick to gentle creamy cleansers, but the Dermalogica team said using the glycolic cleanser and the moisturiser in a routine would give me my glowiest skin, ever...
Hesitantly, I started using the cleanser every other morning to remove any Murad Intensive Recovery Cream 50ml residue leftover from the night before.
I also use it as a second cleanse in the evening to help remove grime after a balm has removed my makeup. On the odd occasion I've put any on.
The gel cleanser texture is unlike any other I've tried. It's ridiculously gentle, doesn't really foam, and the velvety texture feels beautiful on the skin.
It didn't strip my skin either, but it does leave it feeling clean and looking bright.
I've even been using it in my weekly skincare routine on alternating nights to Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 and haven't experienced any sensitivity.
Plus, almost anyone could use it - even us sensitive skin folk - to incorporate glycolic acid into your routine without worrying about breaking your skin barrier.
So yeah. Basically, it's good at everything.

Final Verdict...
I’ve been using the Dermalogica BioLumin C moisturiser every day for the last six-ish weeks, and the glycolic acid cleanser for four.
Sure, my work mates can confirm my skin is looking glowier, but I've really noticed a consistent improvement in the evenness of my skin tone and general brightness, too.
The instant glow these products deliver is pretty amazing, but one of the biggest reasons I'll keep using them is because it's really hard to find effective brightening skincare products that are also gentle and non-irritating.
I'm so happy I made the effort to step out of my skincare comfort zone to give them a go.
The track pants are staying, though.
