Thin haired by nature, I'm an afficianado of the volumising, densifying, strengthening category. And a sceptic when it comes to big rowdy hair-growth claims. I know this category is mainly cosmetic. And that's OK - they work their magic well when combined with regular scalp exfoliation, a head massage or two and a diet that's rich in the good stuff. I've been using Christophe Robin's fortifying shampoo and conditioner since it launched last year and really love the results. It doesn't promise to make your hair grow, but it does offer validated proof that it reduces the amount of breakage and hair fall by strengthening from the roots. Which it has done beautifully for me. My hair is significantly healthier, glossier and generally better looking - so much so that my hairdresser and work colleagues have noticed. The shampoo is a light gel, low foaming, deliciously fragrant and full of lots of natural ingredients. I love using it.
