When it comes to tanning my face, I do not eff around.
As someone who's had an allergic reaction to nearly every tan they've used on their face, I'm pretty cautious when trying new tanning products.
Previous face fake tan experiences have included rashes, sandpaper-textured skin and general blotchiness that takes up to a week to subside.
That said, face tan is an absolute necessity for me given my dark European features, very Irish skin tone, and staunch aversion to sun exposure.

Umm for starters, not only is Tan-Luxe Super Glow Serum 30ml a gradual face tan, but it's also a HYDRATING SERUM.

How to Use Tan Luxe Super Glow.
I've put together a little video showing how I use Tan Luxe Super Glow, but here are some more pointers:
- Unlike face tan drops, you don't need to mix this tan serum into a face cream.
- Apply on clean, dry skin at night-time, and follow with moisturiser if you need extra hydration.
- Use it every day if you wish to build up the depth of bronzey-ness, or you can apply it a couple of times a week like I do.
- I won't use this product on a night I'm using my active serums, as I don't want it interacting with anything else on my face.
- A note on face tanning and exfoliation; anything with vitamin A or chemical exfoliants will remove your tan, so use them on alternating nights.
- Always wash your hands when you're done to avoid tell-tale orange fingers.
Tan Luxe Super Glow Reviews.
I'm just as obsessed with this face tan serum as I was the first time I used it three years ago.
It literally feels like a hyaluronic acid serum... except it has tan in it!
With more of a focus on beneficial skincare ingredients than fake tan, Super Glow gives a gradual and natural glow to the skin.
You can also customise your depth of colour by using more/less drops.
After one application, I wake up the next day with the most subtle hint of colour I'd describe as a 'healthy glow'.

Aside from how it makes my skin look, the best thing about it is that it doesn't make my face feel dry like many other face tans.
I've never experienced any sensitivity to Super Glow. Plus, it layers well with other products, and doesn't leave brown marks all over my pillow!
If I wanted that spray tan depth of colour, Tan-Luxe The Face Light/Medium 30ml would be the better option for matching my face and body tan.
But if you're fair-skinned or you're looking for a subtle radiance, Super Glow is going to be your BFF.
Honestly, this product ticks all the boxes. Just buy it already.
