This Is the Best Peptide Lip Treatment I’ve Tried So Far, and It’s Under $30

The Scandinavian skincare line, a true treat for both the eyes and skin, has become a staple in my routine ever since its launch at Adore Beauty.
I think I’m onto my third (who’s counting?) tub of their Peptide Face Cream, better known to me as my "makeup moisturiser”, its unique balm texture is the perfect primer, with a sweet yet delicate scent that tickles the sensory-sensitive part of my brain.
I love the Banana Bright Eye Creme too.
The bestseller is a skin-instant pick-me-up in a cute little pot–the kind that makes you wish you had products like this in your early twenties to disguise all the late nights (and questionable decisions).

In the inner circle of lip care, there are a handful of popular products heralded as the best of the best. Some we stock (like the viral Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, another fave of mine), others we don’t–I’ll leave you to fill in the blanks.
I’m fairrrrly confident that I’ve tried most if not all of them in the search for a dry lip salve with a little something special. The Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve is easily up there and is one of my favourite beauty discoveries of 2024.
It feels like it’s curated from the best bits of every balm I’ve tried—like someone peeked at my lip routine wish list and created this all-in-one powerhouse. It’s decadently rich, deeply hydrating, and deliciously scented.
The Ole lip treatment has a beautiful, generously sized applicator that glides along the contours of your lips, nourishing and softening them with every swipe while depositing buildable colour.
It’s thick and occlusive, but it doesn’t feel that way. It melts in like a mask but bonds like a balm.
I don’t usually like to play favourites, she’s an ~empath~, but given how many people I’ve influenced to buy this shade and how devastated I was recently to lose it (manifesting its return asap!), it has to be Cocoa Crème.
It’s the personification of the classic ‘90s supermodel lip: kinda moody but undeniably chic.
I love pairing it with the the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil in Endless Cacao.
In close second is Crème Brûlée (she’s a sweet tooth), a beige nude tint with an addictive vanilla brown sugar scent. This is the perfect everyday shade that can chameleon from day to night looks.
If you’re after a clear finish, Citrus Sunshine is the one to go for, with a subtle sugary finish as long as you don’t mind the lemony scent.
For a classic pink look, Strawberry Sorbet is a no-brainer. It’s the ultimate your-lips-but-better shade that’s effortlessly amped up with a deeper liner underneath.
Final Verdict.
Now, before this flies off the virtual shelves (again), I have to say—you need this in your life. Yes, it sells out fast at Adore Beauty, and yes, I’m risking it all by being so vocal about my love for it. But your lips deserve this.
Sure, some might think the nearly 30-dollar price tag is steep for “just a lip balm.” But if there’s one thing I want you to walk away from this article with, it’s that this is so much more than that.
