Black Chicken Remedies was born after founder Chey Birch tried everything for her irritated skin and sinus, but nothing seemed to be working. Seeking help from a naturopath, she was encouraged to think about the toxins she was consuming. Shocked at the ingredients lists in the mainstream skincare products she'd been using, Chey Birch was inspired to create Black Chicken Remedies. 

Black Chicken Remedies started in a ceramic bowl with a black chicken painted on it. Chey started blending therapeutic botanical extracts to create natural remedies, finding solution for her own skin and soon receiving requests from her friends.
